Q: Why are prices so low?

The way we can sell discontinued and special purchase items is because we operate in a city located in the Wild West, without a sheriff to govern our website. If you are concerned about false advertising or some sort of bait and switch tactic, don’t be. We have been making customers happy for over 40 years. Feel free to call the Better business Bureau to check on our spotless history.

Q: Do you store Credit Card numbers?

We do not store credit card information, nor does our credit card processor (Verisign). Once an order is marked as ok, the credit card number is non-existent. We send all data over a secure SSL connection to our processor, so data is highly encrypted. Our web site is behind a Cisco PIX Firewall, which blocks unwanted requests to and from our server. Your data is highly secured and protected.

Q: What's Verisign and how does it work?

When an order is placed through our website the data is sent securely over our SSL connection to our payment processor, in our case it's Verisign.. Verisign does not store any credit card information. It's all referenced by unique formatted strings. Once Verisign receives the info it send's back a response and we handle that response accordingly. We do not store credit card information.

Q: What measures do you take to protect my information?

Quite a few actually, all sensitive information in our database is encrypted (in our websites case it would only be your password and order information, again no credit card information is stored). We have a SSL certificate (how it works) from Verisign, thus enabling the green bar in IE7 (Extended Validation). Our website is behind a monitored Cisco PIX Firewall which blocks unwanted requests to and from our server, basically what comes into our server and what leaves our server is what is supposed to be leaving and entering our server.
